(More customer reviews)After being completely dissatisfied with the wobbly tabletop stand for my 55" Hitachi 55HDS69 plasma, I began looking for a wall mount. Having bought furniture made by Sanus Systems in the past and being 100% satisfied with it, I opted for this mount. Amazon has the best price by far. This mount is beautiful and extremely heavy duty. Mounting is straight forward and the adjustments are limitless.Moving the plasma (130lbs) is effortless with this mount. The silver model has a glossy finish to it that is impressive for a tv mount. It is also available in black. I can push the plasma completely against the wall if desired - great for parties, etc. Although several screw sizes are included, I found the screws that Hitachi already included made the best fit. You WILL need someone to help you pick up the tv/mount assembly for final installation. Basically you bolt the plate to the wall, install the mount to the tv and hang the mount/tv on the bracket. This mount is heavy (60+lbs) and super sturdy. My wife was even impressed. I would not hesitate to purchase another one. I would definitely go with this larger Sanus mount if you have a TV larger than 50". What more can I say, it's a TV mount that is beautifully constructed. There is an optional center channel speaker bracket you can buy for it also.
