(More customer reviews)Overall this is a great quality mount. I have installed articulating arms before on everything from a 22" to a 50" flat panel. The arms are hard to keep level as you move the TV around. They usually sag a bit and look just a bit off level. Now that I have found Omnimount, I will try to use it from now on. I am pretty good at figuring out installs like this, but the directions were pretty good for the less than engineerish person. There are plenty of pictures and diagrams. I recently mounted a 32" flat in a bedroom. I am always weary of mounting expensive or heavy things using any kind of drywall anchor. This one I tried to pick the best stud that would put the TV closest to center of the wall. Swinging it to both sides to see which was better, I had to settle on a few inches off center. The problem is the wall mount part uses one vertical member to bolt to the wall. Other flat mounts (tilts up and down only) span studs with 2 to 4 anchor points. You can usually catch a stud on one or both sides, then the carriage (part the TV mounts to) can slide on that wall mounted portion. This lets you center the TV perfectly.
If you can have faith in a hollow wall anchor, or even better, have the luck to have solid material like plywood built behind your wall, and you can mount the vertical member perfectly, this is the best mount I've seen.
