(More customer reviews)I purchased this product to mount front speakers that are 7 pounds. The mounts look like they made out of quality materials. The problem was the mount would not hold the speaker at the desired angle. I tried cleaning the ball and socket with alcohol and even inserting a strip from a rubber glove as suggested by another reviewer. The speakers would eventually droop down and point at the floor no matter how hard I cranked on it.
I am now using them for the rear home theater speakers that are 4 pounds and they work perfectly.
I must now look for different options for the front speakers.
