This is a well made wall mount for LCD monitors.The after installing the base on the wall, the height of the LCD monitor is adjusted manually by loosening the locking device on the wall base.This gets the job done without having a piston or other device to maintain the LCD at the height that the LCD is lifted to by the user.If you are not adjusting the height often this is the way to go.Much less expensive than an articulated arm with a piston.Many mounts are totally fixed in height and the LCD monitor can only be adjusted horizontally. This mount allows for raising and lowering the monitor.
Very happy with the mount.It does exactly what I need at a reasonable price.
