(More customer reviews)I bought this to mount a center channel speaker directly below a flat-panel TV.The speaker is fairly heavy (~35lbs.), and the important thing to me was that this shelf needed to support the weight easily.
The installation was a cakewalk, and everything went smoothly. I had the mount installed in about 10 minutes.
The strap supplied with the shelf for holding down components is useless for me as it keeps "sliding"off the speaker, but that's a non-issue for me -- this speaker is heavy enough that it won't budge.
