(More customer reviews)This is a mount that is truly slim. It is perfect combination for my 1" think plasma tv. The TV seems directly attached to the wall. It seems sturdy enough to take even the heavyest flat TVs out there. Mine is 50' plasma and on the heavy side and I feel it is very secure with this mount.
This mount is so thin in fact that, once the tv is mounted, I cannot reach behind it to disconnect/connect any cable. Not a flaw but you need to keep that in mind before mounting the TV to the wall. You have to plan all cabling in advance. Also, my hand cannot reach for the safety lock bar once it completely inserted. I can only reach it using a hook about 12" long to fish it out.
It comes with veriety of screws to mount to the TV, but I had to use extra washers to get the right distance from the vertical mounts to the TV body. I could have used the large washers (more short pipes) that come with the package, but that would put the TV further from the wall and defeat the slimness of the mount itself.
