It does everyhing it is supposed to do.The 42" TV has remained on the wall, the tilt option works;you might need to be a little strong to use the tilt often but, if you are getting it in place and going no further no big deal. One note the TV does sit close to the wall so make sure all components and the TV are plugged in, not much space to operate in after the TV is up.
