(More customer reviews)I bought a Square Trade warranty on my 42" Envision LCD TV, bought at Staples, a couple of years ago. The warranty was valid until 2010.
While Square Trade could have had me ship this TV to them for repair, when it developed an LCD fault, they decided the TV was too large and bulky to ship, with a big chance that it may very well be destroyed totally in transit.
Also at its age, repair would likely be more expensive than replacement.
On their request, I faxed them a copy of my Staples receipt.They immediately issued a refund for the price of the TV.
One phone call and one fax.That was it.
I could ask for NO better service of a warranty than that.NOTE:Keep your receipts and copies of your warranty at least as long as the warranty is in effect!
